How Are Private Jet Rental Prices Calculated?

What drives private jet rental prices: aircraft category, flight time, empty legs, waiting, taxes and season. Plan your budget with confidence.

The main driver: aircraft and flight time

Most of a private jet price comes from the aircraft's hourly operating cost. A light jet's hourly cost is significantly lower than a heavy or ultra long range aircraft, so not choosing a bigger aircraft than you need directly affects the budget.

Positioning and empty legs

If the aircraft is not at your departure airport, its positioning flight is reflected in the price. On one-way trips the empty return to base may also be added. That is why a one-way price is not half of a round-trip price.

Other cost items

Other items that make up the total price:

  • Airport, passenger and handling fees
  • Crew accommodation and overnight waiting
  • Landing/parking fees and night operations
  • Special catering and additional services

Season and demand

Demand rises in summer on holiday routes like Bodrum and Antalya, during major events and public holidays. Requesting early gives you an advantage on both price and aircraft choice.

You can see starting prices for our popular routes on the homepage; the final price is always set by a quotation based on date and aircraft type.
